About & Location

The Vancouver Riptide joined the American Ultimate Disc League (AUDL) for the 2014 season. Playing in the Western Conference, we are excited to bring our brand of exciting, affordable, and family friendly Ultimate to Vancouver.

The Riptide is owned and operated by L2 Sports Management who also own the AUDL 2013 League Champion, Toronto Rush and the Ottawa Outlaws franchise in the North East Division of the AUDL.

The Riptide commitment is to provide its fans and sponsors with exciting on field competition and a great fan experience in the stands at every one of our home games.

Swangard Stadium in Burnaby is our home and offers our fans an accessible venue that is ideal for professional Ultimate. We offer beverage services and a wide variety of food and snacks.

The stadium is conveniently located near the intersection of Boundary Rd. and Kingsway on the boarder between Vancouver and Burnaby. For more information about Swangard, go here.

If you are taking the Skytrain from the east, get off at Metrotown Station, or from the west get off at Joyce Station. In either case, it’s just a short walk to the stadium. You can also catch a bus along Kingsway if that’s more convenient. For more information about transit routes, go here.

It’s great for cyclists too. From downtown, from East Vancouver, or from Burnaby or points east use the Central Valley Greenway along the Skytrain route. If you are coming from the West Side, use the route along 45th Ave. For maps of bike routes across the Lower Mainland, go here.

Parking is available (360 spots) either at the parking lot at Boundary Road and 47th Avenue or the east lot accessed from Kingsway.

Join us at Swangard and let us show you what Riptide Ultimate is all about!
